“A series of yellow silk dye dipped and painted Monotype prints. Each print works as a consideration of Lakota kinship to language and tradition. Angelica seeks a direct visualization of traditional “Ksu” Lakota beadwork in the pattern making of these monotype paintings. This work draws directly from my ancestral visualization of our Sun and Star relationship to the spirit world.”
